- 2.02
Abilities inside smoke
Fixed issue where various abilities did not work inside Jett's smoke, even when they were visible to their target.
- 2.01
Smoke duration
Smoke duration decreased from 7 to 4.5 seconds. In a continuation of the Controller changes from Patch 2.0, we felt it was important to consider Jett's smokes as well. In Patch 1.0, we increased Jett's smoke duration to 7 seconds (from the then 4 seconds), and we are partially undoing that now. We've found that the result of that change was that Jett became a substitute for the Controller role, and reasonably aggressive teams could make use of her Cloudburst smokes to quickly take space without relying on a dedicated Controller. This is part of a pattern of Duelists superseding more utility-focused Agents that we will continue to look at in the future. It's important that Jett can use her smokes to create temporary windows for the high action plays that define her style, but those windows need to be brief enough to ensure that Controllers are where teams look for team-focused vision blocking.
- 2.01
Fake defuse sound
Fixed Jett being able to trigger the defuse sound while dashing.
- 1.11
Jett and rope
Jett now can't rope dash lel.

Blade Storm consecutive burst
The time between consecutive Burst Fire use has increased from 0.33 seconds to 0.45 seconds. While we continue to investigate some of her outsized strengths, we think the burst fire on her Blade Storm has been over-performing at long ranges.
- 1.09
Blade Storm damage falloff
Daggers thrown in Burst now have a damage falloff that begins at 12 meters and drops steadily (to 35 damage) at max falloff. The burst fire is intended to be a close range attack, but we found it frequently getting frags at over 20 meters away. These changes aim to rein in its effective range while retaining its close range potency.
- 1.09
Blade Storm multiplier
Headshot multiplier on Burst Fire reduced from 3x to 2x.
- 1.09
Operator instant equip time
Instant equip time adjusted from 0.3 to 0.5 seconds (instant equip plays after tapping orb, bomb defuse/plant tap, Jett Cloud Burst, and Phoenix Curveball).
- 1.07
Viper's smoke abilities decay on allies
Decay on all Viper's smoke abilities no longer affects allies. This is mainly targeted towards Viper's Pit, and should help reduce some of the unintentional collateral damage she can cause to her team, while also opening new strategies for playing around her ult as a team.
- 1.04
Translucency effects one frame behind
Fixed issues with some translucency effects being one frame behind (such as Jett's dash, when used by the player).
- 1.02
Blade Storm now refreshes
Blade Storm now refreshes when used to kill Phoenix during Run It Back.
- 1.02
Practice Mode bots
Killing practice bots now properly refreshes Blade Storm.

Jett's lower body
Fixed a bug with Jett's lower body popping out of place during her glide—thanks physical therapy!
- 1.0
Cloudburst duration
Cloudburst smoke duration increased from 4 to 7 seconds. We feel like Jett has a strong, irreplaceable value in terms of her ability to deny trades. But we think her team-oriented output is a little too low. This should give her and her team a little more time to work off of her smokes.
- 1.0
Tailwind breaks Trapwires
Tailwind automatically breaks Cypher's Trapwires after being briefly revealed. ailwind force is powerful enough that Jett should easily be able to break free of any leash. This should allow her a little more freedom to make that aggressive, but risky play that creates space for her team.
- 1.0
Sound visualization
We've brought in more sounds made by Agents under the category of sounds that display their audio distance on the mini-map via the white circle. This includes ability sounds, reloads, spike interactions and more. Why? We wanted to provide players with the ability to understand when their noise can be heard by enemies and give them an idea of how far the sounds can be heard.
- 0.50
Updraft cost
Jett's Updraft reduced from 200 to 100 credits.
- 0.50
Ability details in the combat report
Ability details in the combat report will now correctly appear in the buy phase of the round when teams switch sides.
- 0.50
Players appeared to be standing
Fixed a rare bug where players appeared to be standing, when they were actually crouching.
- 0.49
Smoothed out movement
Smoothed out movement during player-to-player collisions.
- 0.49
Ultimate icon
Fixed the ultimate ability icon above teammates' heads showing as charged after gaining 1 ult point instead of when actually charged.
