Info
- Vandal · This accurate powerhouse is ferocious in small bursts. Extended fire results in less stability, however. The Vandal retains high damage over distance and rewards those who focus single shots at a target's head.

Inaccuracy state
Jump land inaccuracy state changed from gradual to binary. We've noticed a trend where players landing from a jump are able to shoot accurately sooner than is reasonable. While this issue is most pronounced on the Operator, it is something that we've noticed across all weapons. Jump peeking is valuable for the mixup potential it provides but it was proving too difficult for players to reasonably deal with.
- 1.09
Inaccuracy duration
Jump land inaccuracy duration increased from 0.2 to 0.225 seconds. These changes retain that mixup potential while slightly increasing the time before the peeker can fire with perfect accuracy.
- 1.09
Inaccuracy value
Jump land inaccuracy value increased from 5.0 to 7.0 (more inaccurate for 0.225s after a land).
- 1.08
New Vandal skin
Since patch 1.08 new skin is available—Ego Vandal.
- 1.07
Firing rate
Increased firing rate from 9.25 to 9.75.
- 1.07
Increased damage
Increased damage from 39 to 40. Goal is to bring the Vandal in closer competition with the Phantom. We believe these weapons aren't that far off in competition and hope these changes will do that.

Elderflame Vandal and enemy footsteps
Enemy footsteps duck cosmetic bus properly. This means that enemy footsteps will always lower the volume of the skin sound effects that are not important to gameplay, like the flame whooshes, dragon roar, etc.
- 1.03
New Vandal skin
Since patch 1.03 new skin is available—Elderflame Vandal.
- 1.02
All weapons, desired slow amount
Update to Tagging (slowdown effect when hit by enemy fire). Increased the time it takes to reach desired slow amount when tagged by 100%. Also, the effects of being tagged should feel less jarring especially when playing with higher ping.
- 1.02
All weapons, effect of tagging on movement speed
Effect of tagging on movement speed reduced from 80% to 70%. Tagging is intended to reward the player with better positioning and the player that successfully lands a shot on the enemy first. When tagged, you will now more gradually transition to the reduced tagging speed.
- 1.02
All weapons, effect of tagging on movement speed (Wall Penetration)
Tagging through walls has been further reduced which should enable reliable escapes when being shot through walls. Effect of tagging on movement speed reduced from 35% to 25%. In addition, the reduced tagging speed is slightly more forgiving. If you are positioned close to cover, this should allow you to potentially escape when tagged more frequently than before.
- 1.01
New Vandal skin
Since patch 1.01 new skin is available—Avalanche Vandal.
- 1.0
Vandal name
Previous name was AR-762 Vandal.

Availability of Vandal
Since the official launch, Vandal is available with 4 skins—Aristocrat Vandal, Dot Exe Vandal, Luxe Vandal, and Prime Vandal.
- 0.50
Vandal recoil
Horizontal (Yaw) Recoil reduced by 15% while crouched and stationary. This was intended to be the case and now properly matches the crouch benefits of other rifles.
- 0.50
Recovery time on Vandal
Gun Recovery Time reduced from 0.4 to 0.375 seconds. Recovery time on Vandal have been updated, which should make tap and burst firing more efficient. Inaccuracy is accrued any time the weapon is re-fired prior to a complete duration of a weapon's respective Gun Recovery Time.
- 0.50
Vandal Tap Efficiency
Tap Efficiency rate increased from 4 to 6. Tap Efficiency determines the rate that inaccuracy is accrued when re-firing prior to waiting for the complete duration of a weapon's respective Gun Recovery Time. The higher the Tap Efficiency, the lower the rate of inaccuracy accrual.
- 0.50
Vandal base walk accuracy
Base walk accuracy increased from 0.6° to 0.8°. We felt like walk-spraying with Vandal was a little more effective than we'd like, particularly at longer ranges. We're going to pull back on this accuracy slightly and continue to monitor.
- 0.50
Walking accuracy
You will no longer enter the "walking accuracy" state when transitioning from run to stop. We noticed many players were entering a walking accuracy state during their run-to-stop transition that made it appear as if shots they fired/landed were done at full speed.
- 0.50
Deadzone accuracy
Deadzone accuracy speed threshold increased from 25% to 30%. Now that you can't gain walk accuracy while transitioning from a run to a stop, we've also slightly increased the size of the deadzone (full accuracy state) to make it a bit easier to get an accurate shot out quickly.
- 0.50
Weapon muzzle flashes
Fixed a bug where some weapons lost their muzzle flashes in 1st-person POV when tracers were disabled.
- 0.49
UI prompt block bullets
Fixed a bug where item UI prompt in the game world would appear to block bullets.
- Beta
Availability of Vandal
